I’m struggling with some severe digestive problems at the moment. Please pray for the Lord’s grace and healing.  Thank you for your prayers - it means so much right now.

Please pray for a single mom's group. We meet this Saturday. Please pray for sweet fellowship, that we can grow together, & that our time would be blessed. Also, pray the kids would be entertained & have fun.

Please pray for my great nephew's (the twins) dad. He had a seizure today(12/7). Also, please pray for me I have surgery on Friday to remove my thyroid.

Please pray for our missionaries to Canada, Marlon and Becca Brown who sent the following updates and prayer requests: The Lord has been doing some amazing things so we have a lot say this week:

• The Lord is growing our house churches. We have had several new people join in just the past few weeks. While we are excited about the growth, pray that God would give us the grace to come alongside these new members of our family, and disciple them in the way of Jesus.

• Thanksgiving Outreach- While we always miss being back home for the holidays, we decided to host a big Thanksgiving dinner and invite friends and neighbors. Honestly as it got closer to the day we wanted to cancel. We invited tons of people, and Becca’s health was not great. But we knew God was still calling us to host it. Guys, I can’t begin to express how this simple dinner impacted people, especially some of our non-believing friends. Many of them expressed that they felt so loved for being invited, and that they experienced a different “presence” in our home. Pray that the presence (Holy Spirit) that they encountered in our home will continue to reveal himself to them. 

• Pray for the upcoming Christmas Season- pray that God would give us wisdom and insight on how to reach out and minister during this time of the year. Pray also for our Christmas Eve service. Currently we don’t have a place to host it. The location that we use for bigger gatherings, and have traditionally used for Christmas Eve, couldn’t find a staff member to work that night, so we can’t use it. Pray that God would open up a door somewhere!

• Awake Vancouver church family prayer requests- Pray for a man recently diagnosed as Bi-Polar, also pray for his wife Lori. Pray for a woman and healing in her family. Pray for someone who came out of a cult, and us now attending our church. Pray for a woman who is still healing from past church and family drama. Pray for a “S” to experience spiritual peace and physical healing.

• Pray for areas devastated by flooding- as many of you know parts of our province we devastated by flood a few weeks ago. Literally roads, bridges, and sections of highway were washed away. Not to mention the loss of homes and other personal property. Please pray for all the work that needs to be done, and pray that the church would continue to be there in the midst of all this to minister to people.
