DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.  “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”  Isaiah 55:8, 9.

Sometimes we think God wants to restrict the boundaries of life to hinder our joy. Nothing could be farther from the truth. God's ways are big, expansive, larger than our imaginations. He knows sin eats at us to shrink our character, and stifle our growth. However, He has perfect plans to amplify and realize our potential. He helps us achieve more than we could think to ask. So seek Him. Listen for His leading and pray with confidence. You and those you hold in prayer can find the higher way---the way of the Lord.

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for Patrick, who knows the Lord but is having a hard time being a man of God.

  • Pray for Tammy who has had some serious health issues including a recent bout of meningitis. Pray for her healing and that God will use her even as she is housebound.

  • Pray that the upcoming Senior High visit with nursing home residents will bless all involved.

  •  Pray for the Food Pantry ministry that provides food and prayer to those in need who come from throughout the Treasure Valley. Pray that God will continue to provide the donations needed to keep this ministry running. Pray that God will strengthen all the volunteers involved, and give them wisdom. Pray for the people this ministry serves. Pray that God will open doors for them to find jobs and that they will open their hearts to the message of the Gospel.

  • Please pray for Saul and Angela Alvarez, our missionaries to Tepic, Mexico. They are about to lose their rent-free place of worship and need to find a new place to meet. The congregation is small with few resources. Pray that God will lead them to the right location.

  • Pray for the Woman’s Quarterly Prayer Night, at 7 tonight. Pray that women will heed the Lord’s call to gather together for prayer. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead and ask that we will see such great revival in individual hearts that our community will be influenced as a result.

Enjoy your time in God’s presence. It is a privileged place to be.
