I recently retired in order to get my life back and stop the mental decline I was experiencing. Six months later and I am finding the decline is continuing in all areas. I am still trying to do this in my own strength which I realize has to stop and that I need to spend more time listening to and obeying God. This is a crisis point for me so I am asking for prayer.

Praise the Lord for many divine appointments and provision this last week. Praise him for strength and endurance.

Pray for my best friend who is battling depression and frustration. Praise for our son who is celebrating 42 years of life.

Pray for the lonely, the old and the shut ins.

Pray for peace of Jerusalem.
