Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Thank you for your continued prayers for my son. He had a brain MRI yesterday. Though very exhausted, he has been doing well on a lower amount of the two chemo’s. As you may remember, the doctors cut back the chemo’s due to his blood counts dipping extremely low after his vaccine in April. Again, we are hoping and praying for a good MRI and labs despite the lower chemo. It will take a week or so to have the MRI and reports go from Boise doctors to the San Francisco doctors who are treating him, so we'll let you know the outcome when we have the results.

  • Could you pray for a single mom's group that meets at my house this Saturday? Pray that we could have good fellowship, be sharpened, the Holy Spirit to minister as each one needs, & that the kids would be entertained.

  • I have been especially busy lately with work. Please pray I’d be able to balance and prioritize all my responsibilities.

  • Pray our family to grow in grace and love and to overcome our differences, to live lives that glorify the Lord.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Tepic, Mexico, Saul and Angelica Alvarez who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Please continue to pray for “J” and his economic issues.

    • On Monday, I had an appointment with the owner of the building to show her the place because we painted it and she wanted to see it. I paid the rent (over $400 dollars). I talked with her about some changes that we want to make in the building, and she was fine with it. We have some money saved, but it won't last long. As a church we collect the offerings every Sunday at service, but it is not enough to pay the monthly rent on our own. I hope that our Lord blesses us with more people in the church and more sponsors for this mission.

    • On Tuesday, I had to take my truck to the mechanic because the transmission broke down and it will cost about $ 800 dollars to fix it. For now I don't have a truck to go to the flea market to sell my popsicles until the truck gets fixed. God is good and He knows why all these things happen, He has everything under control. Glory to His name!
