DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

Friday, November 3, 2017

“Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”  Colossians 4:12.
"Laboring fervently" conjures up images of hard work. The term therefore deserves some clarification. Spending time with God is never laborious. We are welcomed into His presence as beloved children. However, once before the throne it is certainly appropriate for us to pour out our requests with great passion. We should care so deeply about God's purposes prevailing in this world that we agonize over the great needs of our brothers and sisters, pleading that they like the believers Epaphras loved, may "stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."

Prayer Requests

  • Please ask God to heal Brett and Melanie and their marriage. Ask for their hearts to be soft and that they will forgive each other.

  • Please continue to ask God to help Steve make choices that will honor God. Please ask God to continue healing his body, mind and spirit and to give him wisdom and patience and hope. Ask that God will open doors to a better life and spiritual fulfillment.

  • Pray for Josephina who recently fell and broke her leg in three different places. Pray for quick healing, for Josephina's strength to come back quickly, and for her to be able to get into a rehab hospital quickly so she can begin working towards getting her strength back.

  • Pray for Michelle to be able to sleep well tonight and every night.

  • Pray that all the requests for assistance with Thanksgiving dinner needs will be fulfilled with joy and generosity.

  • Pray for the homeless and shut-ins.  Pray for elderly folks in general to know the love of Jesus.

  • Pray for a friend whose wife recently passed away. Ask for him to know Jesus and His love.

  • Pray for Calvary Chapel Bistrita Romania. They hold their women’s Fall tea tomorrow (Saturday). Pray that it is well attended and that women are inspired to live out the Gospel. Pray for the speaker who is a missionary in Hungary to be well rested and to travel safely back to her home after the event.

  • Keep praying for the Men's Retreat this weekend and also for the Women's Quarterly Prayer Night on Monday.  Ask that God will touch hearts and inspire believers to pursue His perfect will for their lives.

Enjoy your time in God’s presence. It is a privileged place to be.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, we know we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. - I John 5:14-15
