Daily Devotional

Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”  Isaiah 40:31.

Waiting is hard. We want what we want and we want it fast. Exercising patience when it comes to the things of God is contrary to our natural tendencies and that is exactly why it is of such benefit. Taking time to focus on God's ability, HIs heavenly perspective and His desire to work in our lives is uplifting, motivating and capable of transforming us into His mighty agents of change----for our good and the benefit of His kingdom. Waiting teaches us to look  for His guiding hand in all we do.

Prayer Requests

  •  Please continue to keep Caleb in your prayers.  Since his father Greg’s passing in April, Caleb has suffered internal issues that remain undiagnosed.  He is skin and bones and has been in the hospital since last week in the psychiatric unit.  Please ask Jesus to deliver Caleb and heal and restore him.

  • Pray for Rod’s business meeting today Thursday. Pray that the contracts will be signed and completed.

  • Pray for my left hand to be healed.

  • Pray for anyone contemplating baptism to participate in one of the upcoming services.

  • Pray for the upcoming Men’s Retreat. Pray that participants will be inspired to be godly men of prayer, boldly laying down their lives to follow Christ.

  • Pray for the upcoming Women’s Quarterly Prayer Meeting on Monday night. Pray that it will be a Spirit-filled time of worship and supplication and that women will be transformed by their time in God’s presence.

Enjoy your time in God’s presence. It is a privileged place to be.
