Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for my health and my baby boys health. I work in healthcare and it’s rough with COVID.  I don’t have any more sick and paid time off. We are short staffed and burned out.

  • Update on my step mother-in-law. They have found lymphoma in her gallbladder now as well.  She had gallbladder surgery 2 weeks ago.  Now she will start chemo this week.  She needs a lot of prayer through this.

  • Thank you for your prayers for my friend that was having terrible autoimmune reaction. He met with a doctor earlier today and was diagnosed with a rare form of skin cancer that has no cure. Please pray as he navigates this new landscape that he will lean on the LORD through it all. And that his would experience a miraculous healing! Please pray for his salvation and healing.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Please pray for the launch of our evangelistic youth ministry called Fusion. Since Fusion has been on pause due to Covid-19, we are excited to get it going again, however the virus is on the rise again, and our government is already making heavy restrictions for all group gatherings. May we glorify God in whatever comes our way, and let there be many youth that come to Christ.

    • After a summer break, we are launching six Bible study groups, to give more opportunities to our church for discipleship and growth in Christ. Please pray that many will respond, and be spiritually fed throughout the week as well.

    • Please pray for two newlywed couples that got married this summer, as we continue to counsel them and lead them through a Love and Respect group so that they can have strong godly marriages.

    • Please pray for our family as we have five elementary school kids going to two different schools. Our oldest daughter has already been put on a ten day quarantine because one of her classmates tested positive for COVID. Pray that we have patience, wisdom, and perseverance to juggle through whatever comes our way during this school year, and that our kids will be successful.

    • Please also pray that the first set of stimulus checks goes through as we are now working out the reasons why Whitney was unable to get them in the first place. Our finances have been really low these last months, and we would really need the money, so we can also pay for Ales’ fourth semester of his Master’s program.
