DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

 Daily Devotional:

“For we are God’s fellow workers;”  1 Corinthians 3:9

Each believer has a specific assignment in God's Kingdom--work that can only be accomplished with the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit. Trying to achieve God's purposes on our own results in futility. The Good News is we don't have to go it alone. Paul tells us in Phillipians 2:13 that it is God who works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure. So, yes, work for God. . . but pray first. Then listen for God's instructions and allow Him to lead the way.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for God’s guidance, direction and strength in Sheri’s marriage as she deals with and confronts her husband’s inappropriate social media interactions.

  • Please continue to pray for Charity Thomas who is active in Growing Old Gracefully. She had some stints put in her heart this week. Please pray for her dad Stewart and husband Jimmy who were home alone while she was in the hospital. Pray for her homecoming to be smooth and for her to have comfort and peace of mind.

Anonymous Requests:

  • I want to thank God for the beautiful church body at Calvary Boise.  I ask for prayer in my spiritual growth as I continue going through the New Life program.  Also, pray as I’m looking into Bible College. Pray that things will work out according to God’s plan.

  • Our family needs prayer for: healing, a Christian counselor, work and direction for law school, revival and God’s direction for all of us.

  • Please pray for the lost to have hearts and minds that are open to hearing the truth of salvation through Jesus.

  • Thank you for your prayers for my brother Steve.  He is back to work again.  Please continue to thank God for loving him. Ask that he will have clear direction and the means to proceed forward in God’s plans for him.

Enjoy your time in God’s presence.  It is a privileged place to be.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. – I John 5:14-15
