DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

 Friday, October 27, 2017

In this manner therefore pray -  Matthew 6:9.

In His interactions with the disciples, Jesus talked more about praying than preaching. He emphasized the power of prayer more than the preparedness of those in ministry. His final conversation here on earth underscored the need for believers to rely on the Holy Spirit. Nothing has changed. Our best efforts will deliver puny results if we don't ask the Lord for direction and then yield to His wisdom and power. To know joy, peace, strength and love, spend your time talking to God.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. – I John 5:14-15
