Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for a friend’s family.  Her dad passed away Monday.  Her family is struck by how suddenly it all happened.  Pray for God’s comfort and guidance as they navigate through this loss and a new season.
  • Please pray for a young man who is filled with hate and anger towards other races.  Pray for his salvation and that God will fill his heart with love and forgiveness.  Please pray for his father, who is a Christian, that God would give him the words to minister to his son and that joy and love will fill their home.
  • My family is being forced out of our rental home and we currently cannot find a home to purchase. Please pray that God will provide a safe, comfortable, and peaceful place for us to go.
  • My senior pastor from Northern California, a Calvary Chapel pastor, is apparently in ICU. Please keep him and his wife in prayer.
  • Pray for one of the men in our church as his job demands a lot of time and he is pretty exhausted all of the time.
  • Pray for a woman whose husband passed away on Thursday. They were married for nearly 50 years.
  • SLOVENIA - Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:
    • Please pray for our leadership as we are making major decisions through the summer about membership and restructuring some of our mission and vision statements.
    • Please pray for two girls we recently have had a chance to minister to, both of whom have been sexually abused in their teenage relationships. Please pray for wisdom and guidance on our part, as far as how to show them that the relationships that they are involved in are abusive and need to be ended, as well as to what degree to involve other people, specifically their parents.
    • Please pray for continued strength, wisdom, and good management of time for Ales as he juggling church work, home responsibilities, and an intense Masters program through Western Seminary. Please also pray for financial provision as the sign-ups for the new semester have already begun and he needs to decide what classes to take.
