Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • I have a relative who is in trouble and is in some very dangerous situations in an ongoing basis. This person needs protection but also needs for God to reach them so directly and so swiftly that they know 100% God Almighty is intervening on their behalf. They need to turn away from the life they are leading and get to the safety only He can provide.

  • Please continue to pray for my mother, who is in the hospital. She has COVID-19, and she is on oxygen support. Please pray for her healing and for the nurses and doctors caring for her.

  • My dad can use some prayer for some medical situations with his eyes. He lost some vision in one eye and now he potentially has glaucoma. Please pray for healing.

  • My oncologist wants me to have hysterectomy ASAP. I don’t have peace about it but know it needs to be done. I also need help with my baby after surgery as I am not allowed to lift him or carry him for 6 weeks. I don’t have enough paid time off to take 6-8 weeks to recover. I need provisions to be able to provide for my baby and I. So far, doors keep closing. Please pray for peace, for doors to be open, finances and wisdom.

  • Please pray for my aunt who has fibromyalgia. Her swelling is worse and she feels horrible! Please pray for comfort and relief from swelling and pain.

  • Please pray for peace, unity, and lightness of heart as my parents are visiting us from out of state. My wife and I both struggle with chronic ill health.  Our limitations sometimes become a point of contention for my parents as they have trouble understanding what we’ve been living with for the past 10+ years.

  • Please pray for our missionary to Romania, Natalie Bridges who sent the following updates and prayer requests: I just want to praise the Lord for an amazing week!

    • My hives were particularly bad on Thursday morning and I was so tempted to just stay in bed, but I went to the orphanage anyway and I realized it was the enemy trying to keep me home that day because I had the most amazing meeting where the Holy Spirit directed our conversation and I was able to share the gospel and answer many of her questions.  I was just in awe! Please pray for her salvation.

    • Thank you for praying for our older boys, I have been able to spend more time with them outside the after-school program and they have begun to be more respectful both toward me as well as the rules of the program. I know God is working in their hearts. Thank you so much for praying for them!

    • I went to the allergist today and he doesn’t think I have an allergy, so he ordered a blood test for me and thinks it could possibly be an infection or maybe a thyroid problem or an autoimmune disease (like rheumatoid arthritis). I sure appreciate your prayers for this adventure!

    • My last English class of the semester will be next week and I am planning to meet all the students in person at an ice-cream shop.  Please pray that we will have a great last class to celebrate our graduating students and that our relationship will continue even after they graduate.
