Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • You have been praying for my friend who had colon cancer which spread to his lymph nodes and then to his spine. I really appreciate your prayers. He is 46 years old and is married with two daughters. He is currently in the hospital because when he went to start his third round of chemo they found that his kidneys weren't functioning properly and have since discovered some type of blockage in his abdomen. Please pray for doctors/nurses who can diagnose/treat these complications and for strength for him and his family.

  • A dear friend’s 8th grade son was in a terrible accident snowboarding. He is being life flighted to Portland and his life is in peril. Please pray for him and his dear, godly parents.

  • My father in law has COVID and pneumonia. He took a turn. Please pray

  • Please pray for a young father who fell off a roof on Friday and broke both ankles and heels. He has surgery early this week. Pray for provision for his family, and for protection for him from any issues regarding pain meds. He has struggled with addiction in the past.

  • Please pray for my cousin who is going in for open heart surgery. She has a leak that needs to be stitched up. Of course, with COVID-19, she will be alone pre-surgery, 4 days in ICU and a couple days recovery. She is a nurse herself, and she specifically asks that you pray that her surgeon is having a good day. And being on the other side of medical treatment, she is pretty afraid, knowing all the risks.

  • The following is an update on the boy we have been praying for. Continued prayer for our grandson. Praise for God's continued answers to our prayers as his body is responding well to treatments for Sepsis and MIS-C due to COVID.

Here is the update received earlier today from his mom:

He is doing really well. He slept a lot last night and that made a huge difference. He is a little more steady on his feet today so he's been able to take a few steps. The doctor says they will start weaning him off of his last heart IV med either today or tomorrow. Once he's off of that they can remove his neck catheter and his arterial line in his wrist. He's completely off of oxygen and he's only on oral blood pressure medicines. They are still giving him steroids, blood thinners, and electrolytes as well. All in all, they are pleased and say we might make it out of the ICU this weekend! Thank you all for lifting him up. Please also lift up his mom who is with him at the hospital, his 4 siblings at home and step-father who is home with them.
