Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Praise God for awesome presence at Boise Rescue Mission! Pray for healing for Lyle so he can return to church again.  Pray for M going back to work after 2 weeks off from her very stressful job.

  • Pray for more snow in the mountains.

  • My healthy and fit 42 year old son, Keith, has a blood clot in his upper right arm and is being treated with blood thinners for 3 months to see if it will dissolve.  There is no family medical history to explain it, so the doctors say it may have developed after he played indoor soccer the night before and experienced an injury he didn't notice at the time.  Prayers are deeply appreciated for the pain and discomfort. Also that God's peace rule in our hearts over the natural fears over such a medical mystery.  We know God as our great healer and choose to believe that it will dissolve naturally and with no complications.

  • Asking for prayer for Lucas and his mother. Also for prayer for my eyes.

  • My nephew has recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder effecting his kidney numbers.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Thanks so much for your prayers for us.

    • Please continue to pray for “S”, a former student who lived in Haus Nazareth, who is from a Muslim nation. He had to flee his country because his in-laws kidnapped his wife and child and were threatening him with the charge of “blasphemy”. His wife’s relatives told him that if he would “quit” his faith in Jesus and attend religious services with them a couple of times, they would return his wife and child to him, but he said, “I cannot turn away from Jesus and go back to the darkness!”

He now must return to his country this week or permanently lose all custody rights for his son.

Please pray for “S”, his wife and child, as well as his parents, who now also are under pressure. (They have also become followers of Jesus.)

    •  Ask God to confound the plans of the (d)evil and touch the hearts of his in-laws.

    •  Ask God to give wisdom to “S” and his legal counsel.

    •  Please pray that God will hold his protective hand over “S” and his family as he returns to his country.

    • Ann’s eye operation went well. Thank you for praying! She has a final check-up next week.

    • I (Clark) also have a medical check-up on Wednesday. Some lab results for my pancreas are confusing, so please pray that the physicians will have wisdom about how “deep” they should dive in checking things out.
