Prayer

April 25, 2017

Open my eyes, that I might see wondrous things from Your law. Psalm 119:18.

How much the sustenance of our prayer life depends upon the answer to the prayer of our text for today. They who have been greatest in prayer have known God’s word most thoroughly. Knowledge helps prayer and prayer helps knowledge.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Please pray that more prayer warriors will avail themselves of opportunities to do spiritual battle on behalf of our church. Ask that the Prayer Room will be well utilized. Pray that God encourages His people in such a way that no spirit of despair or depression will have any hold on those doing His work.

• Please pray for Silas Link, a 13-year-old boy who had an MRI yesterday regarding a spinal tumor that is in a very difficult location. He has had three major surgeries related to this condition in the past several years. Each weakens his back and makes it harder to recover. The last diagnostics indicated that the tumor was growing slowly. Please pray that there has been a complete healing. However, if it has continued to grow, ask that God will give the doctors and Silas's family supernatural wisdom regarding treatment. The neurosurgeon is not comfortable doing another surgery at this time. Chemotherapy has not proven promising for this type of tumor and was ineffective in the past. This family needs a miracle! Our God is the author of miracles. With Him nothing is impossible. Please pray for comfort, peace, strength, wisdom and of course God's healing touch.

• Pray for Derrick who has a slow growing brain tumor. He has had cancer in the past. Pray that this does not turn into something serious. Also, heand currently has a very bad cold that is taking its toll on his ability to work. Pray that he will recover quickly and also that he will have relief from the seizures that affect him almost daily.

• Please pray for my granddaughter, Evelynn, who is going to have a medical procedure done on her throat today. Ask that the doctor’s would have wisdom and that she would be healed.

• Please pray for Alyssa and her pregnancy. She had a doctor’s appointment this week that raised some concerns with the baby’s development. Further testing will take place, Please pray for comfort and peace for Alyssa and her husband Dan. Pray too that the doctors have supernatural wisdom and are able to resolve any issues that this precious baby may be experiencing.
