Church in the Park

Category: Special ServicesWe’ll gather at Julia Davis Park in the grassy area between the Gene Harris Bandshell and the Boise Art Museum for one big family church service at 11:15 am*. Picnic, games, and baptism in the Boise River to follow. Bring your own chairs or blankets for the service and picnic.
*We will not have a Saturday evening service on August 10, or a live stream on August 11.
Activities for kids will include: jump houses, face painting, and lots of games. We'll also have cotton candy and snow cones.
One of the most critical parts to making this day a success is our volunteers.

There will be space to store perishable items during church service.
PARKING & SHUTTLE
Parking - Parking available throughout the park on a first-come first-served basis.
Shuttle Service - Shuttle parking available for $2.25 at the Brady Street Garage located on the corner of University Dr. and Brady St., just east of Capitol Blvd. Click here for more details.
SCHEDULE
We will have signs posted in the area with the schedule of activities. It is as follows.
11:15 am Church Service
12:15 pm Potluck, Games and activities
2:15 pm Games and Activities End
2:30 pm Baptism in the River
Special Needs - We will have a tent for special needs families. There will be a private space for changing and taking care of personal needs. We will also have a sensory area available.
Lost Child, First Aid, Lost and Found - For any of these please go to the volunteer tent.
