Spread the Joy of Christ through Caroling
Now, more than ever, residents in elderly care facilities need our love and support, to know that Jesus loves them, and that they are not alone. These residents have still been facing periodic lockdowns where they not only aren't allowed visitors, but they can't even interact with each other. Think of what it felt like for you to be in lockdown for all of those months, how lonely it got at times and how different it felt. For the elderly, the sick, and the vulnerable, those lockdowns are still a reality. They are in their rooms for the majority of their days, and in many facilities they can't be in groups larger than four, and family members can only come in the building a few at a time or even one at a time for the entire building. Many of them don't have families.
This Christmas please join us with your families to sing Christmas carols around the perimeter of the buildings of three elderly care facilities, to show the residents that we care and that they are not alone. We would love to have kids show up and have families make handmade Christmas cards for residents and bring Christmas candy. Just seeing the kids makes the residents' day.
Let's share the love and hope Jesus has given us through these hard times in a real way with others this Christmas in a tangible way.
We will be caroling on December 15 and 18. For more info email email@example.com.
