Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for Cassie’s husband, Fernando. He was coughing up blood and they are having tests run. They saw the pulmonologist on Tuesday and he ordered more tests. Cancer is at the bottom of the list. They are looking at an autoimmune disease or an infection, which is treatable. Please pray for accurate results/diagnosis, complete healing physically, for His peace and financial provision for their family. Pray especially that Fernando would feel God’s presence and His love.

  • Pray for Pastor Trevor who is speaking at the monthly Men’s Breakfast this morning. Ask that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide him. Pray that men will respond to the message and will develop a stronger relationship with the Lord because they attended. Pray for fellowship to lead to godly friendship. Pray that the men of our church family will grow in leadership skills. Ask God to make them all prayer warriors.

  • Pray for a five-year-old girl whose parents are separated and contemplating divorce. Pray that she will understand the depths of God’s love for her and trust Jesus when she is sad about mommy and daddy. Pray that this marriage will be saved.

Requests from the Sierra Leone Mission Field

Jason Zweigle shares the following requests from Pastor Alpha in Waterloo:

  • Pray that the Lord continue to sustain this ministry he has entrusted into our hands.

  • It is our hearts’ desire that as a small, non-denominational church we want to work in collaboration with Calvary Chapel if it is God's will.

  • We need evangelism outreach instruments. Pray that the Lord will help us to get them. We are currently embarking on one-to-one evangelism. Join us in committing the converts to the Lord for their growth. Pray that He will lead them to Bible believing churches in the various communities.

  • Pray that the Lord will send faithful laborers who will be willing to serve with all their hearts.

  • Pray that the Lord will supply all the needs of the ministry—spiritual, moral, physical and financial and that we will grow in numbers and in spiritual depth. We especially need to become more mobile. Pray that the Lord will meet that need.

  • Pray that we will be able to execute programs that will make the orphanage sustainable as a ministry.
