Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Praise be to God!  Last week we prayed for Josh’s sister Jessica who had a Cold Knife Cone Biopsy. The Surgery went well without any complications. Her results were negative for any traces of abnormal cells. So all abnormalities were removed during the procedure. Pray that this will strengthen her relationship with the Lord.

  • Please pray for Kim who is six weeks pregnant and experiencing severe “morning” sickness. (It’s not limited to the mornings.) She is a stay-at-home mom with an active toddler. Pray that the Lord will deliver her soon and empower her to get through this. Pray for her husband who really wants to serve her as well as he can. Ask that the Lord will show him what to do.

  • Thank you for praying for Colleen’s cousin Sally. She is now in the isolation part of her  radioactive iodine treatment. Pray that she will continue to draw close to the Lord in her solitude and that she will be healed of cancer.

The following are anonymous requests:

  • Please pray for a woman who has been married for more than 30 years and just discovered her husband is addicted to porn. She is disturbed and distracted by this and ashamed to even go to church. Please ask that God would heal him and her marriage and reveal truth to her heart.

  • Pray for a couple who have been struggling for years. The husband is leading a double life and refuses to be faithful to his wife. He says he is a Christian. They are currently vacationing together. Pray that he will allow the Lord to reach his heart with the truth. Pray that he will be contrite and repentant. Ask that the marriage will be healed.

  • Please pray for the National Day of Prayer Rally. Pray that thousands will turn out on the State Capitol steps Thursday, May 3, at noon. Pray for Pastor Tucker as he prepares to lead the group in prayer for the church. Ask God to stir the hearts of people from throughout the valley to unite in prayer. Pray that at least 50 people from every Bible-believing church will attend.

[Mark your calendar and join the event.]

Please continue to pray for:

  • Derick to cope with the challenges of fighting brain cancer. Ask that he will continue to rely on God’s strength and peace.

  • Derick’s son and mom to be in good health and to be comforted by Christ’s presence.

  • Corey and Elsa who are still battling many health issues and are becoming discouraged. Pray that the love of God will sustain them.

  • Ben, the autistic young adult who is suffering from stomach issues that are exacerbating his behavioral issues. His health is improving but it is still tough for his mom. Pray that God blesses her with an abundance of strength and peace.

  • The Grant family to have all their needs met and especially that God would provide a nurse for Matthew and the funds necessary for Jason’s much-needed root canal.
